Sharescene - one last time as I am over it.

More activity from "anon",  possibly Sharescene administration, in an effort to "tell their side of the story" by way of comments made on forrestthinks.

In reading your email you say in one line say youve been moderated only once in 5 years / 2400 posts and then the next line claims the place is over moderated.

How can it be both? Either you get moderated all the time and hence the place is over moderated or they dont moderate that often.

Whoever he is he just doesnt get it, "over moderated" does not refer to the frequency of moderation it refers to the excessive nature of the moderation ie quality -vs- quantity

What is clear from the "storm in a teacup" (that is the term used for it) is that posters are not customers, they are product. At the end of the day it is the advertisers who are the customer

The success of our advertisers is our lifeblood and our passion.

Admin was also busy wiping supportive posts, it reflects on the quality of their customer service and product management strategy - the following is an extract;

• I think we all share your concern about this action, which, given the history of these posters, and the logical and measured nature of their input, has to be viewed as high-handed. I have written to the administrators, requesting a high-level review of the action. Could I suggest that, if people object to what has been done, they also make their feelings known? 
• I object to the suspension by the moderator of Forrestgump and Skorpion, two of the finest and longest serving contributors to this site. Their absence greatly devalues ShareScene in my view.
• I only use SS to track this discussion on CST...I am dissapointed with what is happening. I agree with your sentiments and have done this XXXXX. For the benefit of others, there is a link CONTACT ADMIN at the foot of every page. I hope that reaches the appropriate person.
