Perhaps this;
For persons who have received BCG and who are not at increased risk for a poor outcome if infected (Box 2), TST reactions of <15 mm in size may reasonably be discounted as false positives when an IGRA is clearly negative.
This runs contrary to
prior CDC instruction
TST reactions should be interpreted regardless of BCG vaccination history.
It appears that for those with a prior BCG vaccination the TST can now be
discounted and for the CDC an IGRA is the
preferred test in BCG vaccinated.
